The Oshawa and Courtice Clinic has numerous safeguards in place to ensure that personal health information is protected and only individuals who need to know the information to perform their work duties access personal information. Safeguards are technical, organizational and procedural.
The Oshawa and Courtice Clinic's privacy policy is available to the public, and members of the community can contact the Information Privacy Officer or their care provider if they have specific Privacy questions or concerns.
Patients have the right to request access to Oshawa and Courtice Clinic's record of their care. If an individual believes that the information contained in the record is inaccurate, changes may be requested.
