We welcome two new Family Physicians to the Oshawa Clinic group.  The new physicians will be located at the Taunton Health Centre and their contact information is located in the Find A Doctor portion of this site (Dr. E. Kung, Dr. U. John).  Patients can fill out a New Patient Application.  These forms should be dropped off at the Taunton Urgent Care Centre or mailed to Michel Henry at Oshawa Clinic 117 King Street East, Oshawa, ON  L1H 1B9.

We have upgraded or added a number of new services to the Clinic. Please note the following changes:

The Oshawa Clinic announced the opening of a new out-patient Endoscopy Centre in the Taunton site on November 6, 2006. This centre provides gastroscopy and colonoscopy services in a timely fashion for patients refered by their family doctor for cancer screening and has significantly reduced the wait times for these procedures. The Oshawa Clinic was selected by the Oshawa and District Chamber of Commerce as the recipient of the 2006 Business Excellence Award. We appreciate this recognition which further emphasizes our commitment to providing quality health services for the Durham region.

On March 20, 2006, the new Taunton Health Centre was officially opened.  This new state of the art facility provides a wide range of health care services and is ideally situated in the rapidly growing area of north Oshawa and north Whitby. 

With the shortage of Family Physicians in the Durham Region, we are continuing our efforts to recruit new doctors to the area.  When new doctors join our group, we will print announcements on our bi-weekly page in Oshawa, Whitby & Clarington This Week.  We will also maintain a list of Family Doctors who are accepting patients.  This list is available at each of our three Urgent Care reception desks.
