Urgent Care
The Clinic provides acute care on a walk-in basis at the Oshawa Clinic, Courtice Health Centre and Taunton Health Centre. The Urgent Care Clinics are not intended to provide emergency medical services but are equipped and ready to handle emergency situations in the event that such care is needed. The department reduces the non-acute use of emergency services provided by the hospital emergency departments.
Please note: Holiday hours for the Urgent Care Clinics are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Your family doctor is a member of a Family Health Group and for patients who are registered as members of the Family Health Group, there is an after-hours phone service available. Patients will receive personalized advice from an Ontario Registered nurse and patients can access this service after 8 p.m. weekdays and after 5 p.m. weekends by calling 1-866-553-7205.
